Nicole Deschene (New York University) design has been selected for the water bottles, and Tianfang Wang’s (The Pennsylvania State University) design has been selected for the phone wallets. Nicole and Tianfang will be publicly recognized at the 2019 AAAL Conference in Atlanta!

This design addresses the topic of language use. In the picture, there are symbols and illustrations for conversation/communication, thoughts/cognition, written texts, gesture/non-verbal resources, and digital communication (which is represented as “@“). This design attempts to include major components of our research and interests as they represent where we use language and the resources we draw on to make meaning.
